CLUB
DEVELOPMENT

A guided club environment built around ball mastery, movement, and decision-making — where habits are formed and players begin to truly understand the game.

Actively Building · Expanding as Nova FC Grows
The Club Model

ONE CLUB.
ONE COMMITMENT.

Club Development is the next stage in the Nova FC pathway — a structured, high-frequency training environment for players ready to deepen their technical ability and game understanding. Training three times per week, players build the habits and confidence that define their development for years to come.

As Nova FC grows, Club Development is being actively built and expanded. Players progressing from Nova Foundations will have opportunities to move into this environment as we scale our coaching structure and group capacity. Families joining the club today are becoming part of the foundation that makes this possible.

Building With Intent

Club Development is not a separate program — it's the next phase of the same Nova FC environment. The coaching philosophy, the curriculum, and the culture are consistent throughout. As the club grows, so does the pathway.

Training Commitment

THREE TIMES A WEEK.
EVERY WEEK.

Friday

Training Session

Sessions are held in the evening after school, from 6:00 PM. Internal game environments are built into the schedule at regular intervals throughout the season.

Every Session

ON THE BALL
FROM MINUTE ONE

No standing in lines. No waiting. Every session is structured to maximise the time each player spends moving, touching the ball, and developing through doing.

0–10 min

Activation & ball mastery warm-up

Players arrive on the ball immediately. No standing around — every player is active and engaged from minute one.

10–30 min

Technical focus block

High-repetition activities targeting the session theme. Every rep is purposeful, every activity is player-centred.

30–50 min

Game-related scenarios

Small-sided games, 1v1s, 2v2s — decision-making under realistic pressure in a structured, supported environment.

50–60 min

Full game & debrief

Free expression in game form. Players apply everything from the session, followed by a brief team conversation.

What Players Learn

THE BALL IS
EVERYTHING

Our curriculum is built around how players use their body to control, manipulate, and move with the ball. Individual quality comes first — always.

BALL MASTERY

Deliberate, high-repetition work with the ball. Players develop a reliable, confident touch across a wide range of surfaces and angles.

DRIBBLING & BALL MANIPULATION

Comfort with the ball at their feet in all directions — turning, shifting, accelerating — building genuine confidence on the move.

MOVEMENT EFFICIENCY

Body mechanics, weight transfer, and coordination — the physical foundation that underpins everything a player does with the ball.

PASSING & RECEIVING

Clean technique in both directions. Quality over quantity — accuracy and consistency built through deliberate repetition.

POSITIONAL HABITS

Understanding where to be, when to move, and how to make the game simpler — introduced through guided internal game environments.

1V1 SITUATIONS

Attacking and defending in individual duels. Decision-making, composure, and execution — the game is full of them, and we train for each one.

How Players Grow

A CLEAR
PROGRESSION

01

TECHNICAL CONSISTENCY

Players establish reliable habits with the ball — first touch, ball manipulation, movement. Every session reinforces the same core actions until they become instinctive.

02

CONFIDENCE & DECISION-MAKING

With technical habits in place, players begin to apply them under pressure. Decision-making, composure in 1v1s, and individual expression all begin to develop naturally.

03

GAME UNDERSTANDING

Players demonstrate their development in internal game environments — adapting their skills to real situations, understanding position and movement, and contributing within team structures.

The Path Ahead

THE NOVA FC
PATHWAY

Club Development sits at the heart of the Nova FC model. Players who are ready for additional competitive exposure can progress into Competitive Development — where the same coaching framework is applied with the addition of external game environments.

Our Commitment to Every Player

At Nova FC, every player receives the same commitment to their individual growth — regardless of where they are in the pathway.

Club Development is being built to give players the high-frequency, high-quality training environment they need to reach their potential. As we grow, so does the opportunity — and the players who start their journey with us today will be the ones who benefit most from what's coming.
