Your registration has come through and we're reviewing it now. While we get everything ready on our end, here's a bit more about who we are, what we're building, and what to expect from the clinic and the season ahead.
REGISTRATION UNDER REVIEW
We go through every submission carefully — making sure both forms are complete, waivers are signed, medical information has been received, and groups can be allocated properly for the day. This step matters because it allows us to prepare the right environment for every child who attends.
YOU'LL RECEIVE A CHECK-IN LINK
Once your registration is confirmed and a place is secured, we'll send you a check-in link ahead of clinic day. Please complete check-in through that link — and only plan to attend if you've received it. If you don't hear from us, it may mean your forms weren't fully completed, we weren't able to accommodate a specific medical need, or we weren't able to create the right environment for your child at this time.
CLINIC DAY
Arrive with your check-in completed and your child ready to enjoy the session. Our coaching staff will work directly with players throughout the clinic in an active, engaging training environment. This is not a sit-and-watch evaluation — players will be involved, challenged appropriately, and guided throughout the session while we begin getting to know them both as players and individuals.
Before the day
Confirming your attendance really helps us as we organize groups and prepare the right environment for every player on the day. We're looking forward to meeting the families attending and making sure each player gets the attention, involvement, and experience they deserve throughout the clinic.
This clinic is the first step into the Nova FC environment and an introduction to the way we train, coach, and support young players throughout the season. Players can expect plenty of time on the ball, engaging activities, game-based learning, and an opportunity to begin getting comfortable with some of the concepts and ideas that shape our curriculum.
Most importantly, we want players to enjoy the experience, express themselves, and leave the session excited to come back. Throughout the clinic, our coaches will work closely with players while beginning to understand how we can best support them within the club environment moving forward.
Families will receive follow-up information after the clinic regarding next steps, group placement, and preparation ahead of the inaugural season.

Nova FC started from a simple observation: there aren't enough quality development opportunities for the number of young players in this area who want to grow in the game. Recreational soccer is great for getting started — but it often lacks the consistency, training frequency, and individual coaching that allows players to genuinely improve. Traditional club soccer, on the other hand, can sometimes become too focused on results before players have the technical and physical foundation to benefit from that pressure.
We exist in the space between those two things — creating a club environment with consistent coaching, clear progression, and a shared identity, while keeping individual player growth at the center of everything we do.
MORE TIME ON THE BALL
Training three times a week creates the repetition that actually changes how a player moves, thinks, and performs. Touches add up. Habits form. Progress becomes visible.
PLAYER-CENTERED COACHING
Sessions are designed around individual development — not team tactics or weekend results. Ball mastery, movement quality, decision-making, and confidence on the ball are the consistent focus.
BUILDING TOWARD COMPETITION
We believe in competition. But we believe in being ready for it first. Young players who are rushed into high-stakes environments before they're technically confident often disengage. We build the foundation first.
A CONSISTENT ENVIRONMENT
The same coaches, the same philosophy, the same group — week in, week out. That continuity is where real development happens. Players settle, trust builds, and they start to take risks on the ball.
For many children in this age group, this is their first experience of a club environment. Pre-Academy is built around that — making sure it's a positive one. Sessions are active, energetic, and full of moments that help young players feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely excited to come back.
The focus is on movement, coordination, balance, and getting comfortable with the ball. Coaches introduce simple game situations and keep things engaging — but there's no pressure, no scoreboard, and no expectation beyond showing up and enjoying it. The foundations we build here quietly inform everything that comes later.
What children develop in Pre-Academy
Confidence in a group setting
Basic movement and coordination
Ball familiarity and first touches
Listening, turn-taking, and interaction
Enjoyment of physical activity
Comfort participating week to week
From age six, players are ready for more. More touches, more sessions, more challenge — and a clearer focus on how they actually use their body and the ball in game situations. This is where the groundwork for real development gets laid.
Training three times a week, players work on technical foundations — ball control, movement mechanics, 1v1 situations, passing and receiving — through high-repetition sessions that keep everyone active and engaged. Internal game environments are introduced progressively, giving players the opportunity to apply what they're learning without the pressure of external results.
Why this age matters
The technical and physical habits formed between six and eight years old have a lasting impact on how players develop later. This window is an opportunity — and more time on the ball, more coaching interaction, and more consistent repetition makes a measurable difference over the course of a season.
One of the most common issues in youth soccer is how clubs handle the range of ability levels within the same age group. Players get sorted quickly, labeled early, and from that point the gap often widens rather than closes. The stronger players stop being challenged. The weaker players stop being developed. Coaches end up managing a team performance rather than individual growth.
We approach this differently. All players within an age group share the same coaching philosophy, the same curriculum, and the same developmental values. What changes depending on ability and readiness is the pace of progression, the complexity of what's introduced, the demands placed on players within a session, and the level of challenge and decision-making expected. Players are grouped appropriately so they're neither overwhelmed nor under-stimulated — working at a level where they can build confidence while still being pushed to grow.

Worth knowing
Development at this age isn't a straight line. Players progress in bursts, level off for a while, then jump forward again. Our job is to stay alongside that process — adjusting challenge levels as needed, keeping each player engaged, and making sure no one is left behind or held back. When a player is ready to be challenged at a higher level, that transition happens. They remain within the same club, guided by the same coaches, with no disruption to the environment they've settled into.

10-MONTH SEASON
Consistency matters — for the players and for the families supporting them. We try to make that as straightforward as possible. Here's what you can count on across the season.
Regular individual feedback — families will know how their child is progressing and what the coaching staff are working on with them.
A predictable weekly schedule — Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, so routines are easy to plan around.
Coaches who stay consistent — the same staff across pre-season and throughout the full season.
Clear reasoning behind every decision — grouping, progression, game environments — explained in plain language, not jargon.
An environment where your child is known — not just a number in a group, but a player whose development is being actively tracked and supported.
Traditional club soccer in this area often means heavy travel schedules, weekend tournaments, and costs that climb well above $2,000 a season — before extras. Nova FC is built differently. The focus stays on the training, the coaching, and the development — not the travel calendar.
LESS TRAVEL
No packed tournament weekends taking over the calendar. The focus is on the training week — not the travel schedule.
MORE FREE TIME
Weekends stay open. Players develop within a structured weekday schedule — without the year-round commitment eating into family life.
INTENTIONAL TRAINING & GAMES
Every session has a purpose. Coaching is deliberate, repetition is high, and game environments are built into the program — not bolted on as an afterthought.
SIGNIFICANTLY LESS EXPENSIVE
At $1,800 for the full season — including pre-season — Nova FC delivers more coaching contact hours and individual attention than most traditional clubs at a fraction of the total cost.
